Some of my initial thoughts while seting up the machine.
The spot in the back where the jumpers and cord hookups are is very nice, it was easy to get at and easy to change, I like the clear plastic window to see how the machine is set. It came with a cord with a nice molded plug on it and since it is a demo I didn't wanna cut off the plug so I removed it and wired in one of my drop cord instead. It was easy to work on. I have some detailed pictures of the wire drive assembly. So I will comment on those later. In the 'switches and jacks' pic things are getting fairly crowded in the right side of the machine all of the jacks switches which are needed for spool gun/standard gun or push-pull is right where the 12" rides and the jacks for the various guns are as well as all the cabling has to run right under the wire drive assy. On the left side not much to see but some storage area for parts. smaller than the MM 350P but a little fancier with same parts bins and a contact tip holding area. The front is simple and clean.

The wire drive assembly is very unique with the guide. Initially I like it, we will have to see how it performs. I am running solid steel wire so that should not pose too much of a problem. I think the solid 2 piece guide would be excellent on harder to feed wires like 4043 or cored wires. There is little free space for bird nests to form. The down side is it is only a 2 roller drive system so if you have a bunch of bad wire with flat spots or varing diameter you may get some lack of feeding issues.
But the ultimate let down tonight was the control cable from the Magnum 300 gun being about 5 inches too short ![]()

Is it set up with the push pull or just the magnum gun?
Have you had a chance to run it yet? If so, how does it compare to the 350p |

Ron, the female amptrol for the gun is front upper left of drive assembly, I believe.
