Default Receiver 2 welding table

Got around to adding a piece of receiver hitch tube for accepting vice's on the welding table.

It was supposed to just use a 5/8" receiver pin to secure the male part, but I shin-toed the hole drilling on the receiver tubing. Reviewing options .

I figure that shin-toed means either ****ed up or the holes don't line up, how about a little work with a diamond burr or a tapered hand reamer.

Hey now Cutter, no need to get surly, name calling in such just because I brought up your vice afflication

Blackdog , the 'shintoe' thing is from the movie 'Beverly Hills Ninja', reads something like 'shinto happens'

1) as noted enlarge holes
or
2) drill mating tube in place to match misalighed reciever holes
or
3) tap or weld nuts onto reciever holes and just use two bolts from each side to povide side clamping force.
or
4) cut it off and do it over (not likely to go this route)

Looks good - can you post pictures of the rest of the welding table? Looks interesting.

Fix complete, and two upsides are that the tube is held firmly and I wont have to drill any mating holes for any future fixtures dropping into receiver.

Default Henery ford speaks from the grave...

Parts and processes left out of the product, cost nothing and cause no service problems.
If I had the time back, that I spend lookin' for the damn pin on my bench, I'd be way ahead... YEP, gonna steal that idea too. RED

Last direct pictures for this thread, promise.

This is a mounting plate for a vice, other things needing a temporary mount could possible be attached using the receiver.

vise, dammit!
And why not post more pictures?
What are the little pipe nipples for?
What the heck were you using to bore through the receiver with?
I'm going to bed now. It's been a long day.
