Default Motor mount

Someone was looking for a motor mount for a air compressor. Here is one that works very well. No problem getting the belt tight and pulleys aliened. It is made out of electrician's strut channel. They can be welded to a plate or flat bars like pictured and built to any size you need. pictured is one on my five hp air compressor motor.

Thanks Tom

The program is called "smartdraw" It is a little cad
program Just 2-d but good enough for what I need.It is a shareware program. If you download it I send the symbols of bolts and nut's valves ect. that I have made and you can take them apart and learn a lot about how to use it. You probbley use autocad or something anyway.

LOL Cutter the program is a share ware program and I believe you have the right one. If you download it I can send a disk with some drawings that should help. If you really want to feel like a cad man download "solidworks" It is a high end cad program with a GREAT tutorial which will have you drawing 3 D parts and rotating them an mating them in about 2 hours. MY only problem when I try to do it without the tutorial I am lost. But its fun! I brought the wife over to look at my creation but she was not overly impressed.

digr, I chickened out on installing the program - or anything else - until I get around to installing a new hard drive. I made a sad mistake with this computer when I partitioned the disc with too small a C-Drive for the long haul. It's been a dandy for two years but I am down to my last few hundred megs & it has really slowed it down lately. I bought a new cd-rw & hard drive 2 or 3 weeks ago but between work and building a new fence & gates here at cutterworld, I just haven't wanted to take time to screw with the computer. I guess maybe I'll do it the next rainy weekend.
