Default Interesting Blacksmithing Book

I found this on the Internet Archive site. While I was dinking around looking for the U-Boat welding video Jack mentioned in the Welding Timeline thread. In the past I've found a lot of old videos there more so than on Youtube. It seems to be a pretty neat book. You have to go about 6 or 7 pages before the text starts

I took your suggestion and went to the site but I am not sure how this site works. Guess I am going to have to fool around on the site and figure it out.

Charlie
there is enough stuff there to bury you in all of the catagories.... I read so I start my search already narrowed to TEXTS

http://www.archive.org/details/texts

a search that otherwise that might have maybe 20 or so books I am interested in would bury me with a thousand plus, movies, music files, pictures and I don't know what all.... tons of self proclaimed "artists", "musicians", "filmmakers" and social reformers....have posted their "WORK" and that love to use the archaic terms that just happen to coincide with things I am interested in..... so if I had not pre narrowed it by text I would get buried in a ton of GARBAGE!!... would drive me bugnuts..
Hope this is helpful...

Learning the past can be fun. Especially when you have interesting tales to discover. My Mom does the family info thing. One side of the family migrated
from Switzerland in the early 1700's been here before the revolution. Earliest gen grandfather was a Goldsmith to the King of Switzerland and my 7th gen Grandfather was a Blacksmith in Western Md. < The documented history is he wrestled with Iroquois Indians before the Revolution in The MD mountains and his great grand son bought 100,000 acres for the family farm using a wagon full of hand cut nails.
