Thumbs up Purple Power

Been using this stuff a lot lately on the F100. Really good cleaner and degreaser. Used it today to clean up the oil pan for the 460 before priming it. 30 years of gunk came right off with light scrubbing and a blast from a hose.

I really like the stuff!

I have an old 1945 Logan Lathe that had 50 years of gunk on it. P-Power took care of like Nuthin! Looks new!!
HOWEVER... DO NOT let it on your skin very long! It is caustic as anything and will hurt ya!! Better yet, don't let it even touch skin!
It DOES work great though!!

And for those of you non-ferrous metals are things like;

copper
brass
bronze
etc.

It doesn't like alum-mag alloy rims or blower cases either, sure does a real nice job on the rest of the car though, makes the un-painted CRMO parts sparkle. I spot clean the really dirty parts with PP, (it even cuts the carbon in the clutch can) then, a full washdown with simple green and a blow dry. Don't try it on the painted aluminum trailer, it will soften the paint... (don't ask) RED

I'm wondering if this is the same stuff my son brought home a few years ago after he had incurred the wrath of SWMBO over a really nasty oil and grease mess he'd made on the garage floor. That stuff was purple and worked like magic.
