Default New set of gates

I just finished a new set of gates for the archway of a customers courtyard. I did a sawcut bend for the french curve top in the 1 1/2" tubing. I forged all the scrolls and also made the handles and latch mechanism. The customer was firm in her desire for acanthus leaves even though I tried to talk her out of it. I decided to order a handful of leaves from king and now regret not forging them as well, so the dern leaves are the only thing on it I did not make. I painted it last night so it is now a copper color and I will likley antique it a bit with a rubbed on black finish as well.

Downright purdy! I almost wish I had a courtyard so I would have a reason to build a set myself....

Very nice, Andy.
I would like to see a detail of the latch and then later some pictures of the completed installation.

Really good lookin' work, Walker. I'd love to see pics of it when installed.

Very good job Andy,

When you welded the scrolls to the top and bottom did you weld it inside, or on the outside edges. I tried enlarging the picture but I still can't see the welds.

Nice job. follow up pics would be nice. Good looking gates. I like how the outermost pic dies off on the scrollwork.
