Default picked up an old Drill press

It's an old one (made in usa) 15 inch with 3/4 hp motor. It runs well, pretty tight, and needs some cleaning. He wanted $200 for it, I got it for $70. It's missing one of the 3 arms of the handle, and the wheel that adjusts the speed needs to be replaced, since it's cracked, but it adjusts easily even with just the stub of the wheel.

Oh, it also came with a very dirty cross-slide vise. I'll post a pic of it once I get my camera recharged.

I have one that looks just like it. It's badged Wilton, They probably came off the same line. It's a great press that's infinitely adjustable from 400-5000 RPM. Great buy and you'll love it. Noting better than not having to jump belts to change the speed. Oh and you suck.

Thanks guys! Yep that's the same one. I'd lost the info after a while, just didn't have time to follow up on it back then. It looks like time was on my side because he said he hadn't had many calls.

Where do you get belts for it? He said he'd replaced the belt a few years ago and it's pretty much sat since then. But I'd still like to know where to get stuff for it, if you have a source. Can you order through Norton or Grainger or somewhere like that?

Yeah, I'm pleased with it. It'll be better when I clean off the crud and rust.
