Well, I could.. I've been wanting to put up time lapse CCTV for video surveillance.

But, it comes down to where I want to spend the money.. At this point we'll have to see how this new mailbox handles all the abuse..

Of which today I was able to get a few more pieces made up for the side, front cable protectors.

I made up some bolt bosses..

It dawned on me after the fact that I could have easily made the cable protectors out of 3" channel and it would have been much simpler.

Hi DrBob,

You called it buddy. . I just finished up the box.. Yahhhhhh whooooooo....

Here are the reinforcement tabs for the front cable guard.

And the brackets..

For some reason the pictures when I upload them are being turned sideways.. #'s 3 and 4 got turned. sorry I don't know how to turn them right side up.

My question poised to the group here is how long should I make the support arm?

It is 4ft now.. And with the mailbox on it it will be close to 5ft from the hinge pivot..

The box if I had to guess I'd say weighs around 140-160lbs

Hi, They were in the correct position before I uploaded them.. Seems strange to me.. Irfanview is an awesome program.. I've used it ever since you turned me onto it..
