by all means use the highest rating caps you can get..BUT the larger voltage rated caps also use a bigger case size and can sometimes be a challenge to fit into the converter enclosure..the 440v rated caps seem to be a good tradeoff between case size and voltage rating..my shop converter has 440v rated run caps and has been going strong for an easy 25yrs.The starts usually are closer to max with a 330v rating.
