I haven't been "converted" yet but did buy a bit at Woodworkers Supply to
try the process when I get one of those roundtuits. The other guy that prompted
this exercise has already a Kreg set and a cheapie of just two of the jigs and
bushings. That is the approach I used to design what I've made.
Don't think I could grind the step bit. The long bar to hold a group of the jigs
to do a wide panel started out as a piece of a garage door opener track some
years ago. :-) Did take a bunch of holes though. I spaced a pair every 3/4"
along the entire length.
I'll try to do a series of pix of each of the operations soon and put them on
Photo Bucket or make a file that could be sent to anyone.
