Camdigger, the stuff you referred to was probably this

http://www.alliedelec.com/panduit-g2...8/#tab=similar

I used a ton of that stuff in panels I built before I escaped to my OWN version of insanity

In fact, I used some of it in racks in my own studio - altho in audio stuff, you need to set up separate/separated runs for signal, sync and power - still, like Terry's wire labels (used those too) they're worth the seemingly exhorbitant price... Steve

Terry, that is a neat setup!! Looking into that. And Jack, I feel for ya! For so little to be in that cabinet, thats a big wad of mess. Ran into similar years ago when I worked at the truck rental place. My fix was a pair diagonals and to start over. And at least he didnt use scotchlocks.

Whoever dreamed up those abominations should be made to eat a few dozen bags of them..........what a piss poor way to tap in to a wiring run .

You stop using scotch locks once you see your first fire started by them!

Fortunately I never saw any fire from them. But corrosion, absolutely!! Nothing like a trailer plug installed with them.
