Default Penton Anvil

Upcoming auction has a Penton anvil. Haven't found any info on it. Anyone know anything about a Penton Anvil?

Edit: I did get a number for the anvil, It is #T155 A80A91.

Could it possibly be a Trenton? If so, they are a fine tool.

Ditto what Brian said. Have you got a picture of it?

I can tell you with near certainty that it weighs about 490# per square foot. Post a pic for more info. Never heard of a Penton. I have a 220# Trenton, and you will be hard pressed to find a better anvil.

Well the Penton which was really a Trenton was a 155 pounder farriers anvil sold today with 8 different hardies for $475. A couple of hundred over my budget. It was in fair condition. Definately well used, but servicable. Have to remember that there will be another auction.

I did get 2 tubs of new V belts, around 40 of them for $15. Lots of different sizes. Also picked up another Handyman jack for $15. Was a fun day all in all.
