Default helmet rehab

I've an old helmet from my uncle that looks like an "easy rider" helmet. I'd like to pull the crappy foam and ripped liner out to put it back in service. Does anyone have any input on the best way to go about accomplishing this?

Robb, I sent my first Bellstar full face back to bell and they brought it back to life, ok, that was around 1986-7, might be worth a try though.

While I cant say I've looked it over with a fine tooth comb, a manufacturer label wasnt readily apparent. Ill have to look at it closer tomorrow once I get up.

Thanks Moe, that helps!

Just so there is no question, this will not be used on the road for motorcycles. I plan on using while tinkering on the riding mowers we take off-road. Its a riot to see the look on peoples faces when we roll up on old clapped out riding mowers coated in mud and smiles.

I had seen that, was actually thinking about adding a mini turbo to one of the motors just to see if I could. Im also scanning the craigslist to see if I can find an atv front suspension to graft on. I'd like to find one with a blown motor so I wouldn't feel bad about swiping all the parts. I do know where an abandoned snowmobile is, I wonder what he'd sell it to me for. Hmmmmm
