Default Dodge tailgate adjustment

Is there a way to adjust a dodge tailgate? My shuts fine but you can still rock it in and out about 1/16".

You can loosen the striker bolts ( they have a torx in the end) and move them. I’d check the hinge rubbers and if it has them the rubber blocks half way up first though.

Expected there was a nut behind the striker, so took off the tail light. There is a nut. It is a captive nut so no need to remove the light. Just used the Dewalt cordless impact and a T45 Torx bit to loosen and slide back a 1/16". Tightened the striker back up and no wiggle now. The rubber bumpers at the top looked good so left them alone. The plastic cups also looked good.

Thanks again Neal.
