Default I need help with century 125gl welder

I have a client that has a century 125gl welder. He says that there is a kit for it to add gas. I don't think the kit is available but I was told that a victor 150af will work. Is this true and what all will he need to switch to argon?
Thanks for any help

Welcome to the site.

I don't know what a Victor 150af is.
Contact Lincoln, they own Century and may have a Lincoln kit.
I don't know if that also includes a gas solenoid that has to be wired inside the welder.
Or do you just need a Victor regulator for Co2/argon.

I have a Century 125GL with gas. I think these are gas-ready, and all you should need would be a regulator for the bottle. If you check the rear of the machine, you should see the gas connector, which is located just above the entry for the supply voltage wire. The plastic gas line runs from the regulator valves to the connector on the back of the welder, and just plugs in - it's a slip-fit... I'm guessing it must engage an O-ring, once inside. Nothing magic, here, it's almost too simple.

There is no solenoid-operated gas valve inside the box. Gas (on/off) is controlled by a valve inside the gun, which functions with the trigger (this works when the machine is not plugged into the supply voltage).

BTW... this is a great little welder, very underrated and often demeaned by some pros, who've probably never used one, anyway.
