Default A Different Welder

Something different. Advertised on the local Craigslist but I've never heard of of this brand before. Just posted this as a matter of interest...

Fronius is well known brand in the EU, Austria based.

Yeah, I assumed they were European. Apparently not a brand that was imported to North America; at least not in great numbers. Had never seen or heard of them till now...

The original small inverter stick welder sold by Miller (140 amp 120/240vac) was a Fornius, before the came out with their own design (150 amp). I had 2 of them, later traded in on the Maxstar 200, I bought

The new Fronius are quite well regarded and are quite expensive, they do not look like that anymore. They are sold in OZ as well.

Yeah, I have never tried a Fronius but they are supposed to be a high end machine.

Might be a cheap score since it's not Red or Blue. Tweco gun adapters can convert nearly any machine if desired.
