New Harbor Freight 120V Inverter Welder
the link below show the unit, not who I bought it from. I got it at the local HF store, as its now a closeout, I paid $50, it was the store display model. I used it for about 10 minutes this afternoon, it ran the 3/32" E6011C, with no issues. I have no idea why I bought this, Its not like I'm welder poor. https://www.kvm.tools/product/chicag...-stick-welder/

I had one of those many years ago. It was okay but I sold it off years ago as it did not fit into my plans.

Thinking back on this, I find the price of $471 + change from that web site very high. If I remember correctly, when I bought mine from HF I paid about $119 for it before taxes and no coupons used.

You need a Vulcan large view welding hood to go with it. I have one and it is as good or better than my Miller..One feature I like is #8 shade setting.

Thermal arc makes one very similar but it's a 90 amp I'm fixing to pick one up, of course, it's a bit pricier but it will run 1/8 6011 with no problem.
and super light I can run it off the welder generator and go up a ladder and weld purlin without having to carry my heavy ass leads draped over my shoulder... the only reason I don't go with the HF one is limited to the 80 amp and that 10 extra amp difference makes all the difference for me...
