Default Oops-----

Started a project Fri. Just two beams, with a couple of holes and some stiffener plates. Also have Simpson joist hangers every 24" oc. No biggee--Got the first one done and started the next on Fri. Got in today feeling pretty good, making good time and good welds, Gonna make some money. Right! Finished em up by noon, all happy and s#$T, Did a couple of other things and went back to finish my paperwork and OH DAMN IT--Out of the 42 hangers, I had put 24 of them on the wrong layout!!! Me being me, I had done the layout from memory and got the first one wrong and the rest were 24 inch on center, 3-1/2 inches off!!!This will put me about 3 hours behind tomorrow. Not happy---

Roger that-- Actually, this wasn't that bad. I was just very pissed at myself for not dbl checking everything like I usually do. Bossman said, even with the fix, that I was still 1 hr under the bid. I do NOT like mistakes. I am, after all, a profesenile(is that right?)
