He probably has insurance but that video is gonna go a long way toward helping the insurance company prove that he was grossly negligent. If they don't deny the claim outright they'll certainly reduce the amount of the settlement significantly. The lawyers of the guy he hit will love it too. Since it's in the States and you guys are lawsuit crazy anyway what are the chances that the passenger gets hit with a lawsuit for not seeing the problem and calling the whole thing off before something bad happened? I wonder if he's even got insurance that would cover that kind of thing? The fact that he knew the throttle was sticking and that the brakes were being ridden hard and were burning up could very well make him culpable to some extent...

Plus the fact that they were out driving around shooting video for the Passengers utube channel, would put him in equal cause of this accident.
