I spend a lot of money each year deer huntin', and I let A LOT of small bucks walk and end up not killing a buck... I've been after the same buck for 3 seasons... This coming season will make 4 years and it only comes out at night!

I've seen cedar pine trees larger than my upper leg that had rubs on them!.. I've also found some large sheds, and I seen the buck 3 times on my property ''at night''!.. I've never got a picture of it with the deer camera.

Last spring I built a large elevated deer blind!... This year I planted 5 rows of corn down in the bottom below the blind, and I'm going to plant a food-plot... Last year I also put out a mineral block, and the deer are still coming to it ''at night''.

I bow & gun hunt.. The Fish & Wildlife made some changes for this coming season.. Can't kill a buck with a gun this year!.. I'm glad they did that Because a lot of people don't bow hunt in this County!

After seeing this thread:.. If I can't kill that large buck this year, Then I'll just make my own!!

If you subtract the time for making spring swedges and misc tooling I probably have about 22 hours in them. I have a few jobs I have to get caught up on and then I'll start another set.

WOW! I just looked at the pictures quick and thought the tines were real and the cap was forged. I kept reading and figured out you made them. Awesome work!
