Default Dawg ain't the only friggin' 'arteest' here

Scalloped plow disk I did last year. All hand cut with the plasma torch. Traded it for an antler carving with a buddy of mine in Alaska.
He wanted one to hang on his storefront.
Anyway, another picture for you you guys. Hope you like it .

Thanks for the kind words DW. Lyle liked it. I still think he got the short end of the deal though. I got an awesome carving in return.

Good job, elvis. I sorta had things like that in mind when I bought my plasma cutter, but I can't seem to get finished with the more immediate chores.
Maybeso sumday.

Hi elvis8, that’s a great idea using the plow disc! Now does it still have the concave shape to it? I can see you are real handy with the plasma torch! Not to sure the majority of the people around here would know what you cut the design out of. Everybody here knows what these are (See picture.) Done a few of these for friends. Anything to do with logging is very popular here, one way or another

Actually, I'm thinkin of revokingDawg's arteest status, since Dawg never posts pictures of his aledged art work. I'll have to conferr with Madam.
We just might revoke his baret and fancy colar.

Is there ART without pictures? Maybe for the National Endowment for the Arts, but for our purposes it's sort of like "If a tree falls in the forrest and no one is around to see it do the other trees make fun of it?"

Nice work, elvis8 and thanks for showing us!

Hey Elvis,

How about a pic of the antler carving? I'd really like to see that too. BTW, the disc is real nice!

Thanks everybody.
Arbo here is a pic of the carving. The pic of course doesn't come close to doing it justice. He uses a Foredom tool and gets incredible detail out of his carvings (you can see I came out ahead on this deal) .
