I found this forum from a thread I follow on BushcraftUSA....I am similar in that i stick to pretty much one forum- but after I read that story I had to join this one just to say how great that thread was. Sorry to hear he has passed-

Cutter's vise predates our forum, yet the information is still there for everyone to see--along with ALL the other members' projects. Feel free to stick around and join in if the mood hits ya. We're always happy to have the company and we'll talk about darn near anything.

I originally ended up on SFT because of a thread about tearing down a track loader. I didn't set down and read the "Saga of Cutter's Vise" till much later there was a lot going on Randy was converting the warehouse in Georgia and whatnot. Once I did I just shook my head in wonder Rod/AKA Cutter was quite possibly one of the most stubborn men to ever walk this planet
 I'd have tossed that damn vise in the scrap pile after about 2 weeks. But, Rod never gave up and got to proclaim "Fuck You I Win"
