Yes they were $500.

Now go pencil out how much material you would need to buy to make those
signs.

First you said car parts, now it's signs, then it's windshields.

First it's springfield Mo (Homer simpsons lair)
Now it's the high desert.

I don't really think you have a game plan at all, and are simply dazzled
by the idea of owning one.
So you keep changing the "plan".

I've never changed the plan. I m making a business plan for my SBA expansion loan. Which means I have to explain/understand what I am buying, with what accessories, power required, get a permit and plan for that, get compressor and put it all on paper, while at the same time I have to complete the remodel on this house and sell it, move my house and biz to Colorado, hopefully between Pueblo and Colorado springs find a 4 bedroom house with a barn/metal building suitable for a Fab shop, or buy land and put in a double wide a metal building kit and utilities. All at once, no I haven't thought about it much. Lol. All for low humidity and a semi painfree life.

I have less than a month to commit to a machine and put it in the paperwork. I paid off my first SBA loan in 2 years so I think I will be a shoe in for a second.

If you are going to get a descent machine you are looking more like 10,000 to 15,000. You get what you pay for.

I still want to see these outrageous over priced $500 signs.

Please post a pix, and what you provided the vendor with
to make the signs.

$250 for a 2x4 sign is pretty reasonable, depending on detail and finish.
