Default I got yer Pig

I had an old 5 gallon propane tank that was out of date. Since I already had four of 'em, I turned it into lawn art instead of getting proof tested. Opened it up, let it air out for a few week. The legs came from my m-i-l's old swing. the face is a piece of wood and the snout is most of the phenolic "can" that I saved from when the A/C crapped out and I had to buy a new start capacitor. The ears are cut from 20 gauge galvanized sheet, and the tail is a curlicue of copper left over from the rose I made for my wife last xmas. Eyes are 3/8" carriage bolts. It's painted "Frosty Berry" because I couldn't find hot pink. Name's Wilbur, not really original.

Scared my wife's brainless little Maltese pretty bad when she walked into the back yard this afternoon.

Reminds me -we went to a Farmers market on the weekend and one of the farmers was selling lamb, he had a model sheep by his stall. What was hilarious was the dogs that came by and jammed their nose up it's butt. Wonder how they'd have got on with a pig.

We all got a good laugh out of it. In retrospect, I should have videotaped it. Oh, well. We didn't hire the Maltese for their brains (we have two) but they make my wife happy. They are sweet little dogs.

Steve, I think that may be the best reasoning I've ever read on the subject.
