Default Miller 350 P

Well bit the bullet today and bought a 350P, I think I'll pick up a spool gun for aluminum, as I cant justify the aluma pro for the amount of aluminum I'll do. Does anyone know if the pulse still works with a spool gun or do you need the aluma push/pull gun?
Should get the welder in a couple weeks as they had to order it in.

Pulse works sweet with the 30A spoolgun!

Shouldn't take that long to get the welder, Wisconsin is local to Canada isn't it?

Thanks.
I think the spool gun will be the better choice for me as I don't plan on lots of aluminuim.
As for the wait. I'm in no hurry as I'm just getting started building a garage. So I'm at least a month away, I bought the welder as today was "MIller Days" at our local Air Liquide store, big savings I think. 350P, Miller elite "Team Canada " helmet for $4600 tax 5% in.

I think that those of us that have the mm350P's would think the pulse works fantastic if we were using jumper cables from Walmart, a boat winch from HF and 60 year old Al electric wire yanked out of a barn from Tickfaw.

I thought and said the same thing here at SFT. Each and every time I picked up that spool gun, I wished I had bought the p/p gun setup first and later found a used spool gun.

those welders are great

if you got a 350p why not a push/pull gun?

Spool gun = $600
push pull = $2000

That was the main reason!

Default like em all

We currently have miller 30A spools and python push pulls like them both the python is harder to handle if you weld all day with it or out of position.but you don't have to change wire as often. Miller is balanced well both work well with pulse. price seems a little hi i just priced a lincoln python at 1500. miller 30a spool for 1000

Thanks for the input. I think out the door a alums pro is $2100 and change unless you catch a sale! I don't plan on much aluminum but I think once I start I'll do more than exspected. But I think a spool will fill my needs, I've been told push pull can be alittle finicky and pile up.
