Default Custom Oxy' & Acet' Cart.

I had a couple members that wanted to see my O & A cart that I made, So I thought I would share it here... (I made it last year)

I used an old 2-wheel and wanted to have the wheels so they would be wider, so it wouldn't tip over sideways.

I cut the axle off and cut it in half... I took a small piece of pipe and welded it to the frame, and then welded a short piece of the axle in each end.

I fixed a cage to go around the tanks to hold them in place... I can unbolt the front part to get the tanks out, when I need to have them refilled.

I also welded a wider plate on the bottom for the tanks to sit on.

The "small green piece of pipe" is used for a wheel spacer.... I had a box of the 10-inch wheels that I bought a couple years ago for $1.99 a piece.

As you may see.... It's not going to be a 2-wheel anymore!

Talking It's Now A Dual-Wheel Cart!

I mounted a toolbox to keep soapstone, goggles, extra tips, etc.. etc..

I also made 3 hangers, and on the side I made a place to hang my hose.

I don't have a picture, But I took a broke file and mounted it so I can sharpen my soapstone.... I added that this past spring.

With the wheels wide it won't tip over sideways, and it's easy to push on gravel... I like to do my cutting on gravel, and not on the concrete or blacktop because of all the slag, and that keeps the wife from complaining!

*I thought I had a picture on my laptop and flash-drive of the tanks on the cart, But I can't find it....( I'll take a picture tomorrow)

I took a couple pictures today.... It just didn't look right without a picture with the tanks on.
