That 10” thru bore would be sweet for some things, and a big pita for others.

If you have an extra three jaw, chuck it in the four jaw, dial it in and away you go for a lot more ease of use.

I’ve had three chucks setup at once before when I needed to do small work and the only lathe available was a biggun.

A problem with big lathes and small diameter parts getting the surface speed you need for a nice finish.

They are designed for laminar flow at probably no more than 60 psi but will freeze up the bottle due to high volume flow.
I have a 2.5" heating rosebud and when heating and bending 3.5 x 7" material, I had to heat the bottle with a 1500 watt heater to keep the valve and regulator from freezing.
We've used Dewars of liquid O2 instead of tanks on big rosebuds at the last place I worked.

On the subject of big lathes and poor safety practices, how about walking on a pile of round bar in flip flops while operating a lathe big enough to kill everyone in the shop at the same time?
