Miller Syncrowave 180 SD?

I found a Miller Syncrowave 180 SD on ebay with a buy it now of $1,299 he says it was only used twice. It comes with everything but the tank what do you guys think is it a good deal? I might be able to talk him down alittle bit I might call him tomorrow.

How much warantee is left on it?

If no warantee is left I wouldn't pay more than $1000, assuming you get the torch, ground, stinger and regulator with it.

Past that you have to figgure in and prorate what you thing the remaining warantee is worth to you.

I have had my 180 for 6 years and zero problems.

don I have learned the hard way not to buy used machines.......and I would feel really bad if you dropped a grand on this thing and it didnt workout for you.......

whats the reason for the sale ?

It appears to be someone who thought they wanted to weld so they bought the welder then found out how hard it is and decided to sell it. I guess I will be better off just waiting alittle longer and buying a new one. I wish the money would come in alittle faster.

With inflation I pretty sure that does not amount to very much.

If there is warantee still left on it it may be a good deal. And pending Miller's price increase.

The biggest question to me would be the ability to eyeball the machine and drive before I buy.
Depending on the condition of the machine, it might be a deal at the price Shade suggested, or it might not. A seller looking at a fistfull of cash will often change the value he has comitted to in his mind.

don, the p.t. 185 will run you about $1700 brand new..........same with the t.a. 185 so for a few more hundered bucks you get the ease of mind knowing that its yours and you have the total warrenty -
