I would like to make one more move but I think I am too old. I have friends and help here that I would not have in a new place. If I moved south I would be closer to the kids and I am sure the wife will go south after I am gone. So if we went now she would already be set up. I would like to go but I just don't think it is in me. Boy a new shop would be great though. I would probably get it built just in time to move to the old folks home. I would also have to start buying new steel.

Big, I/we got pretty good at the moving thing in the millitary, 10 PCS moves in 25 years, not counting the house to house moves when I was flippin' HUD houses. (buy it cheap, renovate it, live in it one year, or rent it back to HUD or UDL, to get the fed write offs, sell it.) I kept 2 or 3 going at the same time for about 6 years. I finally had to open a yard account for each property so my suppliers knew where to drop materials and SWMBO could pay bills and keep track of the P/L. 4 moves in 8 months is mind blowin', how'd ya get any work done?
Since I've retired, I moved the house 3 times and the shop twice, Now that the "Garagemahall" is built, I'm with Rick, only way out is a body bag and a toe tag... When this old carcass assumes room temperature, I'll bet the jackels have my shop stripped out clean before I get my last swim. Mrs. RED can rent the shop out for tax money or let the new boyfriend park his Corvette in there. makes no difference to me, LOL. I hope you stay in this shop long enough to take yer workboots off ! RED

Double d commercial space is hard to find in my area, and suitable space even harder, seems to be a trade off.
The place I am at now is ideal, but out of my control now, so must rectify that. The new place I am going too is ideal will post some pics once I get up there and buy a camera and get online with high speed. I literally can't wait to move out of here and get setup and back to business.
