I dont do many knives. For my uses, it is more economical to buy a damascus blank in whatever flavor you like and do the stock removal method, or reforge as needed. The reason I dont do many, is that I dislike the final result in the finish grinding. I apparently dont have the tools and skills to produce a product that I like. They come out decent, but not to my liking.

I get it that a store bought knife would do the job,but she loves a custom knife i have that Carol got me for xmas.
Donna is too cheap to even buy a good store bought knife.
But,when the hurricane took our roof off she was here and stayed and worked everyday for 2 months.
When a roof blows off, fixing the roof is the easy part.
The hard part is cleaning the inside of the house.

Leaves, dirt, old shingles, even bricks and a big chunk of road asphalt was found in the house.
everything was wet, they hauled the furniture outside everyday, they took every book, every piece of clothing, every dish and washed then, wiped them, mopped the floor 1000 times,4 shop vacs were running for days.

The work involved with cleaning the inside was staggering.

So,if i can buy her a custom knife (she will not let me pay her!) i will.
