Default blown molded cases

I've picked up a Proto 3/4 drive torque wrench for my military vehicles (primarily). I didn't realize all the options for torque wrenches till recently, but thats another story. Anyhoo, the case the tw came in is the correct case, but its in rough shape. 2 of the 3 latches are gone and the last one doesn't hold very well. I'm thinking I will melt or glue some velcro to the case so I can make sure it stays closed, but I figured I'd ask what you all do for your cases.

drill a few holes in it, and stick the straw for can foam inside.

Once filled, maybe you can then use screws to attached some metal latches.

Works for mailboxes

Would not try to melt/glue anything to the case it will just come off down the road, leaving the case looking worse.

A single strip of Velcro warped around will be an easy on/off.

Store my torque wrench in the rear of a drawer, out of the way and protected.

You may want to set the torque measurement back to 0 to store it, will keep the calibration .
