Yep. This is very much the case. It doesn't have a long shelf life once opened, so it's best to do all-the-things at once

I had thought about the bedliner material as well once or twice, but wasn't sure about the little granules. I have only used one brand, one time, as actually intended and it was a pain in the ass to deal with.


Another option might be to find a small rubber hose that could slide up and deform around the handles. Install it like bicycle handlebar grips, using hairspray as lube to get it in place, and then letting dry to hold there.

More thoughts on this subject....you quickly learn to do the long handled tools first because the plastic level drops quick in the can.

I've thought about sprinkling a bit fine sand on the handles soon after dipping to improve grip....or not, but haven't tried it.

When the level drops to short handles only I've wondered about those slippery little fingernail clippers that keep slipping out of my hands....?

I haven't tried it, but heat shrink tubing is available in many sizes, maybe one or two layers of that would give the desired handle. Of course IMHO I'd have left the original blue on. lol
