More thoughts on this subject....you quickly learn to do the long handled tools first because the plastic level drops quick in the can.
I've thought about sprinkling a bit fine sand on the handles soon after dipping to improve grip....or not, but haven't tried it. When the level drops to short handles only I've wondered about those slippery little fingernail clippers that keep slipping out of my hands....?

I haven't tried it, but heat shrink tubing is available in many sizes, maybe one or two layers of that would give the desired handle. Of course IMHO I'd have left the original blue on. lol
