A regular car battery will work in that forklift. You just might only get one or two lifts before needing to be recharged. And the battery overall life might be short. But it all depends on how often you will be using it. Will you be using it daily several times a day, or only once a month?

It actually has an option to disconnect the battery and hook up jumper cables on their own quick connect!

Deep cycle marine batts would be a better option.

She is home safe and sound. I didn't notice the tilt cyl bleeding down like it does, might just drill it and pin it. I doubt I'd ever need that feature.

Figures, my luck is true to form! It rained 45min before we got her home. Too much chance of getting stuck in mud, we unloaded her in the driveway till things dry out. I didn't want an hour chore turning into a 6 hour mess.
