Default Premium tungsten vs generic?

Does anyone out there have an opinion on the primo tungsten vs the generic brands. I have used both and it SEEMS to me that the primo is much better.

Thanks

Thanks Paul ....I think you're pushing me in the direction that you know I want to go !

I'm perfectly capable of making up my own mind, but it helps to have a little "re-enforcement" !

Default China.

Well I have only used sylvania tungsten so I am in the same boat as you all. However, this is one area where imports from China may make sense. China has some of the largest deposits of Tungsten ore in the world.....but that doesn't mean they know how to process it.

Ok, having used neither, could someone 'splain the difference between the two? I'm assuming it has to do with arc quality/control issues.

My point EXACTLY ! ....Hell....I even look at the wrapper on Lincoln 6011's to make sure I buy the one's made in U.S.A......not Mexico !

But I digress.......

I ordered a bunch of tungsten from "Arc-Zone"........I should have it Wednesday............Will report on my "opinion" of it.

(The only problem is....I'm not a "HELIARC" weldor ....so my opinion may not be worth much)..........

Marko your opinion is worth as much as anyone's on this board, maybe its the way you go at things. If you say they are ok I'll try some but you can't buy them local,my supplyer doesn't sell off brand.Don't know about the others here.
