Arrow feedback for project, clone of another site link

Lurker for quite a while, essentially a noob...

hope Cutter don't mind if I post a link from another metalworking
website, wanted to ask opinions/feedback here for a project I want
essentially to clone. For my Ranger pickup with frame mounted hitch,
can add vertical support at the post base to deter any frame twisting,
only plan on a 400-500 lb load tops.

ummm, wow. I didn't know I had such a fierce reputation.

Here are links to a couple of the threads that come to mind. They don't ride sidesaddle but ???

Troadster's

and

tnmike's

If you've already read those, then just fire away with your questions.
Somebody can probably provide answers.

Ron,
If you add a foot that drops to the ground, I don't think you will have any trouble lifting the 400-500 lbs.

It's because your avatar caricature is so menacing.

Welcome from another San Diegan
