Seems to me you are having way too much fun in this project.

Is that a hint?

I can imagine the swivel caster getting pelted with concrete the first time I use it and me giving up trying to keep it clean after the second hour of pouring. I used to restore and paint old cars for fussy customers during a different era of my life. I guess I am suffering from residual affects from those years.

For me it is much about the vision. I’m not happy if something doesn’t doesn't end up the way I envision it, especially if there was something I could have done about it. After that I don’t much care about it as I am invariably concerned with the next project.

Looking for the CG (center of gravity).

I want the caster to be in this horizontal position during attachment to the box. This will allow easy alignment of the holes and attaching screws.

The tire is a Firestone Steeltex AT. It is a load range E and 31.5” diameter.

I believe I overestimated the weight of the caster. I now believe it is closer to 300 lbs. not 400 lbs.

I added support legs and handles so I can move the caster like a wheelbarrow with muscle power. I do not however have enough muscle to push it up the hill that it is on, its too heavy so there it stays.

The support legs are originally legs that support the quick attach plate up off the ground when the dumper is parked. Without them the plate would lay flat on the ground with the dump box at a severe angle and be difficult to engage with the tractor.

I will try to show this later when I am able to connect it all together, my tractor is 300 miles away.
