If I don't have the right tools, I either buy it or shouldn't be doing it.

I took Friday off as well, but I can't leave until Friday morning.

Ok fellas what’s the head count and what are we doing for food?

I was thinking of trying to potluck the whole mess, sounds like there is plenty of meat inbound. I can do Saturday and Sunday mornings breakfast. We can keep Saturday lunch pretty easy and smoke some stuff for Saturday night? I have a deer roast that ought to be pretty good and some so-so dip. Whatchuall think?

I gotta dig the pork ribs out of the freezer.

Do I need to bring my little electric smoker?

I'll bring 2-4 pounds of homemade bacon.

I thought about bringing a (store bought) corned beef brisket, just cause I want to try making pastrami.

I'll grab some cheese too.

Someone just needs to let me know what else to bring or tell me to be responsible for a meal, and I'll make something happen.

I also said WV was the largest state in the contiguous US if you just ironed it flat.

It’s funny, I spoke with Dave the other day and he had bought bacon, I had bought bacon and now you two have bacon. Hopefully we have enough.

I’m bringing the fire pit and smoker. Might even bring a dab of firewood.

Jason if you want to do your electric smoker that’s fine but mine will be there if you want to use it. The couple of corned beef I have done have come out fantastic. I’d reccomend trying to get a flatter and fairly consistent CB if possible, it helps to keep the thin parts from drying out.
