Default At last, an inexpensve helmet.

Here is the solution for welding with your 110volt flux core machine. You have spent way too much money on the welder and now you don't need to spend the same amount of money on an auto helmet.

It is recommended to use a tight weave on the face shield to keep the BB's out of your teeth.

I once saw some illegals welding rebar with cardboard with tiny holes in it. no glasses. welds didn't look too bad either.

I have welded with NO helmet (looking the other way) using 1/8" 7104 on A.c.
Just shove it in the corner, and it will weld itself just fine.

Stick is nice for blind welding, not that I would ever do such a thing.

They are called pancake filters/shields..Pipe line welders used them..
