Default Advanced Sub arc video needed?

youtube is failing me, need a minute long video for my power point on monday about advanced submerged arc welding. so if it shows more than one arc doing the welding it counts. if it is in a position other than flat it counts, any help?

You might try looking up "twin arc". Thats what we called it at the tank shop I worked in. It used 2 5/64 wires and an elongated flux nozzle. Not much to see though, just the wires a pile of flux, the flux vacuum and the "slag" on the finished weld. Try Lincoln, they may have some down loadable stuff in their training section.

Default Now Wait a minute!

Do I understand you to mean that you can do submerged arc out of position?
I'm sure that I read somewhere you can only weld down with SA. If you come across a video like that please share!

Don, i have talked to Nancy more than Vern since i've been up at ferris, and as far as for out of position welding, there are pretty much flux plates that need to be fixtured to keep it on the weld pool but there are many limitations.
