Well one of the instructors at Lansing Community College heard that I have been laid off from work all winter and asked me help help out in his workshop he is having on March 10th. I have been helping him prepare stuff the past few weekends and I was just informed that he would like me to help another instructor do the Oxy acetylene brazing and welding of cast iron. I have brazed cast iron before so thats not a problem Im just not sure about the welding part? If it makes any difference we are using
Weld Mold 41-B Filler. I am going to practice with it for a while tomorrow so we will see how it goes. Anyways I was just curious if there was any tips or any good links I could read for cast iron repairs? By the way if anyone is interested here is the link for the instructors website and the list of what we will be doing in the class.
