Craigslist drill press- Montgomery Ward Variable Speed

I found a too good to pass up deal on Craigslist today and sadly I missed it. However my darn eyes got my wallet in trouble again as I found another one. It was quite the adventure just to get it. Someone lost the keys to my truck, had to borrow a friends that lost 1 tire on the way. I finally made it there and found this: 17" Montgomery Ward (Powr Kraft) 2437 B Variable Speed 500-21000 RPM 9.0amp drill press. It was in good shape, ran true, and over all needs only some minor maintenance. It does have one problem, the knob for the speed adjustment is missing. I hope I did not buy a boat anchor as I can not find ANYTHING about this model online!

Was it worth the $80?

I need a new chuck for it if anyone has a recommendation or how to get what size of arbor/ect I need.

The one I missed was a Craftsman Professional with XY milling table. Looks to have weight 200 pounds easy. $250 with a 10" Craftsman table saw. Missed it by 20 minutes .
