Default This Can't Be Legal In All 50 States
The last two days we've been learning Dual-Shield, Flux-Core at the tech center I'm taking my welding class at.

This is like cheating. This can't be legal in all 50 States.

Profile pics, not sure how well these will show up. I had to shine my flashlight at them.

I'd like to see how I'd do without having to wear a mask and safety glasses under my hood.

All of that looks ok, considering you are just starting out, and I dont mean that in a bad way. It looks really good...

The one thing I would suggest is get more of the weld up on the vert plate, your second pass needed to be up a bit more and then your 3rd pass would have been higher.

You're shooting for the weld to be 50/50, even amounts on base plate and vert plate...

Understood, and I agree. I was pretty happy with my first pass. I think I got that one up pretty high, but my struggle to get that third pass higher is not isolated to this process alone.

I will say this, I'm consistent. Consistent at having my third pass too low.
