I remembered seeing the article probably, 20 or 30 years ago while traveling in my "time machine". That's what I call my Popular Science and Popular Mechanics collection. My Dad started collecting them in 1926. After he died, I kept it going until the early 80's. What's on the news stand today is worthless to me. And just in case, no, I don't want to sell any of my collection. Google books has been a Godsend for passing along links to others. Dave

I’ve seen some, there is also a 3 point hich bersion for tractors. For lighter snow on larger commercial sites they worked well, most of they guys that I knew that were using them have switched from trucks to tractors and loaders though.

So, the plow stood up to the first use. The winch is a bit slow. Not sure if it is a battery issue or a winch issue. I am impressed enough to invest some time and cash into a better wiring harness. The skid shoes could be set higher and have a deeper dish in them too.
Simple one pin connect/disconnect, set battery in truck box, and thread controller through passenger side window. Did have a visibility issue when Sandy the dog got tired of chasing the truck and got in the truck to warm up. She does not yet respond to " Move yer fat head, I can't see" ![]()
