No confusion..... His set up is limited,, his is not un limited.... I doubt he will be needing or wanting anything that requires much higher requirements for such needs....
was not referring to O/A requirements only, I said referring to O/A settings was only as reference in similar principle in its need for regulators and regulator setting.
here is the chart from earlier propane is dependent on the equipment you are using and will determine the efficacy...

Thanks everyone for the information. like any skill, with practice comes experience. so far I've been practicing some with my torch and between the videos I've seen and the advice given here, I'm sure I'll get the hang of this. I've ordered a smaller cutting tip since the stuff I presently have to cut is just 1/4 inch thick and the cutting tip is a gpn #1. I was using the heating tip last night to bend some 1/2 re bar and it's night and day compare to the mapp gas cylinders that I was using from Hdepot. Thanks everyone again.
