Default Anybody know this vise?

I got this from a garage sale, and it sure is cute.......Anybody know anything about it or what it's worth? I plan on putting it on a key chain, I think...

But.....it sure is precise. The mike says it's exactly parallel on all extensions. What's up with this?

Anybody want to trade?

Mikey

Mikey, I can't quite tell from the picture - is that a #820 or #920?
Probably didn't cost more than $350 new, especially since it doesn't have a swivel base.
Back the screw all the way out, turn the slide over and see what number is stamped into the key on the bottom of the tube. You might have to clean it pretty good to see it.

Like this.

Or this.

Check out this thread: Wilton

And yeah, I'll trade you my Wilton Cadet or a Larin 5 inch vise.

I'd use it as a "machinist's vise".

Or, water and feed it a little longer till it got bigger.

Default small vice

Hi
Being a Aussie I know little about Wilton vices, but crikey I can tell a quality tool when I see one.

I would not be surprised to find out that it may be worth lots of money to a collector in its original condition.

Its a little beauty ,as we Aussies say

Ok, looks like a #820 on the casting. And stamped on the key is a faint 67.

This help?

The '67 means that's the year it was made.
The 3rd link in my reply is to a pretty good thread about those little 2 inch Wilton vises. They are real treasures.
I don't need one but I wish I could stumble across one.
