New Corian Scraps--What Are They Good For?

One of my neighbors has literally a TON of this stuff from a hospital job. Looks to be 1/2" thick. These are just the smaller pieces!

So what could they be repurposed into? I'm curious as I can get bigger pieces from him, probably for free if I get them out of his shop ...

Smaller cutting boards. Not sure but could glue together for bigger ones . Evil bay to knife makes as handle material .

Would make good tool organizers for drawers and such if you can route out slots and such. What’s it like to work with?

When my Dad's shop was still going, they did a ton of work with solid surface tops. Tons of sink cutouts and drops. He has made a bunch of cutting boards that my wife sells at her fundraising bake sales. He can't keep up with demand usually.

A buddy of mine used it to line his shower with. Once melted together, there is no seam to leak.

Pulled a few of the larger pieces out of the dumpster. Maybe some cutting boards in the future.

In other dumpster news, we have been having a problem with scumbag "handymen" dumping their shit in our dumpster, then hi-tailing it out of there! A couple weeks ago it was patio deck cut up into "chunks" that just about filled it! Last week was a couple pallets, a bunch of sod and soil, sheet rock scraps, powder and paint on the side of the dumpster. The picture shows what was in there Saturday night. Note the pile of bathroom tile on the ground, dishwasher on top and shower door leaning on it... Also several bags of debris that took up at least half of the dumpster! I'm getting P.O.'d thinking about it...

Trail Cam set up with trying to get Licence plates and or company logos in mind. So the Po Po can visit them with a ticket illegal dumping/theft of services not sure of your laws down there.

I have a couple CCTV cams I need to mount. They have since moved up the list...

Gosh, I wonder how well the material holds up to compression/impact stress? This might be suited to make hammer forms with. I have a project in the works that require large pieces like those.

I plan to do some research and possibly look for a scrap source near me!

Thinking about it, I could probably use a piece of Corian as a backing for the CCTV cams in the soffit.
