Glad you got that sorted out. And now you know what you can trust.

It’s always good to periodically check your measuring tools against each other every so often. Now that I say this, I should check the dro I installed on the work mill and the lathe dro.

I was taught to run a worn out 9"South Bend in my 2 yrs of school, and they said the dial will get you into the neighborhood, the caliper will put you on the street, and the mike will have you right in the house.
So being 1 thou large is better than 1 thou undersized.
