![]() I used to save Enco's "hot deals" pdf's - finally realized the only change from month to month was the DATE - when MSC gets much above those prices, guess I'll hafta look around for other options... Steve |

Chris, I have a coil of 1/2 inch bandsaw blade from when I had a 4x6. I've moved up to 7x12 and it uses 3/4. You'd have to learn to silver solder the blades together(bi-metal will not weld), but I have no use for it anymore. Let me know if interested and I can get specs(tooth count etc.).

I have gone to using the 8-10 and 10-12 tooth bands I find the dual tooth size really cuts well. The alternating tooth size even cuts thumbs well, as I found out.

I called this morning and the rep made the changes relative to my old Enco account so now I see the old Enco prices. She said to wait a day for all the changes to take effect before I tired to log in with my ole Enco account. Ordered 3 blades on the phone so I am all set for now.

I tried Starrett blades once on my production saw. Never again. Lenox has been the best by a large margin for us. I don't know if they do it for non-commercial users, but Lenox will also send a rep out to spend a few hours helping you set up your saw if you're running their blades. I've been very impressed with them the past few years.

Pics! I believe this to be a Disston product but its not listed on the website anymore. I thought it was a bi-metal blade, but it says matrix on the box. Looks like 10tpi and about 80-90% left in the box.

Dang!!! .035 thickness. My saw takes .025 thickness. Sorry for your trouble. If I hear of anyone else looking for that type blade I will let you know.

Chris, all the little 4x6 saws I've seen (I own 2 of the HF's and a 8x12 Jet) have eccentric adjusters on the side rollers - one of the hex heads is lock down, the other turns the "cam" so you set your own blade thickness... Steve
