I was fortunate that day that the stuff I was working on could go into a tent building and work in there, and then I was staging it around the shovel for the next day or two for upcoming work.

The 750(?) gallon water tank I got and installed as a rain barrel at the house less than two weeks ago is at about 90% full as of yesterday when I chatted with my other half.

It boggles my mind to think about people like yourself out there really building land yachts.

The Portsmouth Naval yard is just over 1hr ride from here and years ago I got to go into one of the old dry docks.

But, they still get to be covered up..

Blessings upon you.

If your short on water then I'm glad you have the barrel getting filled.

If your not short on water and you were hoping it would fill over the next 6 months then

That is a lotta water.

We have been getting our fair share..

April showers bring May flowers and Rain in May makes a barn full of hay.

Only problem is it seems the rainy season has moved into June.

June is 1st cutting here.. But really now they gotta get out there in May before the June rains come in.

That’s what seemed to happen here in Alberta this year, April/May were hot and dry, which is when a lot of the fires started. Now we’re getting rain, but some of these fires are big enough that it doesn’t help as much as one would expect.
