Florida bridge collapse
Sort of a fabrication link, but more importantly dont design and build a bridge like this.

This incident is so criminally inept that it seems more likely to have been intentional than accidental.

I didn't realize until I watched this video, that it was a suspension bridge. That was never shown on the news coverage here in central FL.
The question is why did they expect it to stay up without suspenders? And without temporary supports. Lots of stupid on that job. Jim

Concrete seemed like a poor choice for that design. Nearly impossible to fabricate in a monolithic pour.
